If only you knew what goes on behind the scenes here in North Dakota– the GMail arrives constantly and furiously, let me promise you that. No, it’s not easy to foment a mutiny, but we try our damnedest.

Without going in to too much detail, since I love you all too much for such carnage (it involves someone exhorting others to give his caruthu kundi an ooma), I’ll just let you know that I ended up at a verrry interesting website, which scanned a picture I uploaded before telling me which celebrity in its database I resembled. Mutineers, I present to you a most inapposite result:

  21. Audrey Tautou was my first hit, followed by Ava Gardner, Gillian Anderson and Kajol. I tried another picture and it said I looked like Lindsay Lohan, but I photoshopped that picture so I disregard it.

    I am flattered that it thinks I look like such people. In real life I have been told I look like a young Diane Keaton (while wearing my glasses), and TWICE Toni Collette, which makes me fear that I’m not really that pretty 😉

  26. maisnon: I tried this a couple of weeks ago with a bunch of pics and discovered the “secret”: it don’t have shit to do with “your heritage.” It’s all about what you’re doing in the pic. Looking stage left with eyes wide open? It’ll find pics that have the same basic look.

    Finally (!) got it to work with one of my pics and got … Emma Watson (yes, Hermione of Harry Puttar fame)

    I have to agree with maisnon that it has shizzy to do with your skin color, ethnicity, etc. and everything to do with the angle and look you gave the camera. I look like Emma Watson as much as maisnon looks like Christian Slater.
