That&#8217;s because the Badmash crew has gone on a semi-permanent hiatus (as each of them moves on to other endeavours).  Two Sundays ago <a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fox.com\/kingofthehill\/episodes\/1108.htm\" target=_blank>anyone watching King of the Hill<\/a> may have noticed that the lead writing credit for the episode went to former Badmash-er Sanjay Shah.  The plot involved Hank Hill as the <strike>protagonist<\/strike> hooligan in a <a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Grand_Theft_Auto_(series)\" target=_blank>Grand Theft Auto<\/a>-style shoot-em-up game called Pro Pain.  Only fans of the show (living in Texas this is required viewing) will get why the title of the video game is so funny.<\/p>\n\n<p><center><img class=picture height=148 hspace=0 src=\"http:\/\/www.sepiamutiny.com\/sepia\/images\/propain_1.jpg\" width=200 border=0><\/center><\/p>\n\n<p>Badmash, however, isn&#8217;t the only example of a periodic desi comic strip.  Readers of <a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.indiacurrents.com\/news\/view_category.html?category_id=750\" target=_blank><a href=\"http:\/\/www.indiacurrents.com\/news\/view_category.html?category_id=750\">India Currents<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.indiacurrents.com\/news\/view_category.html?category_id=750\"><\/a><\/a> might also be familiar with a strip titled <em>Small Hands,<\/em> inked by Bay Area artist <a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.e-nidhi.com\/\" target=_blank>Nidhi Chanani<\/a>.  Here is an example of her cute strip:<\/p>\n\n<p><center><a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.indiacurrents.com\/news\/view_article.html?article_id=df64dc67cf0cf340a7210bc259ba1a61\" target=_blank><img class=picture height=294 hspace=0 src=\"http:\/\/www.sepiamutiny.com\/sepia\/images\/smallnidhi_1.jpg\" width=450 border=0><\/a><\/center>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n\n<p>Nidhi also has some <a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.e-nidhi.com\/\" target=_blank>artwork on her website<\/a> in the same style as the strip.  I wonder if the women from <a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sepiamutiny.com\/sepia\/archives\/000239.html\" target=_blank>Kahani<\/a> grab her up soon for help on their publication?
