On the wrong side of the country for kulfi?
Don’t fret, my pet- the mutiny has even more ways for you to help donate to the victims of the brown quake (Thanks, Yasmine and Raj). If I were back home on the left coast, there is no doubt about what I’d be doing this Saturday night (after getting two sublime mango lassis from VIK’s, that is):

A night of solid culture and the opportunity to help people who need it, who are the victims of a vicious natural disaster AND donor fatigue? That’s some cocktail of goodness. May you get intoxicated and then donate even more.
absolutgcs- i’m calling you out. 🙂 you wanted more SF-centric events, well here you go. unless you’re out of town or getting married, i’m expecting you to rep the mutiny well. 😉
Vik’s! Oh, the memories! I wish I could have their chaat right now .. or the aloo tikki .. or the choley bhaturey. Sigh.
Lets have more NYC events too 🙂
I’m not sold on helping pakistan. However india should do a good job on its side of LOC. Atanu Dey sums it up quite well on his blog here and here
I welcome all efforts to help the quake victims both in India and Pakistan. At the time of a humanitarian crisis, people from all parts of the Indian SubC need to come together and help each other out.
I would’ve loved to go to this event, except that the money goes to the commies running AID who have openly supported violent terrorism by maoists, naxalites and marxists in India. As documented here, here and here.
I’m volunteering – see you on Saturday!
haha, thanks anna. no travel or marriage plans for saturday, at least not yet 😉
i’ll be there, probably sporting my dirrrrrty south (asia) shirt =)
who else is going?
